Security

Following the principle of “data protection by design”, we have designed our application to be as simple as possible.

Secure data transfer, no unnecessary functions and data analysis. Deletion of all data after the result is provided. Server in our office, no data center.

After securely uploading your file to our server, a directory is created there in a secure area to which the web server has no access, i.e. there is no possibility of access from outside.
Your file is converted in this directory according to previously defined rules. The data is not analyzed in terms of content.

After converting the file or determining that the file cannot be converted, the converted file is returned for download after a few seconds or an error message appears. At the same time, the working directory is deleted completely.

The only data we save after a successful conversion is data for billing purposes. You can view this at any time on the converter page:
Your customer key
Your IP (Internet address)
Type of file (csv, pdf etc)
Name of the file
Number of generated result rows
Date of the first entry in the file (if available)
Date of the last entry in the file (if available)


Since we do not store and retain any data, we require a separate upload from you if the conversion does not produce the desired result or if there are formats that we cannot yet convert.

For this separate upload, we also provide a form ("Support and upload new forms") where the uploaded file is saved in our internal local cloud application (Nextcloud).
As we then have to analyze this data, our agreement on commissioned data processing applies here.
